Save money by better managing your electricity use
Power Off and Save is a pilot programme that rewards customers who agree to reduce their energy use when electricity demand is high. EirGrid have developed the Power Off and Save programme in partnership with Electric Ireland, who were awarded the contract to provide the service to EirGrid based on the open tender competition in late 2015.
The Power Off and Save programme involves up to 1,500 residential customers and is taking place over an 18 month-period. Those who have signed up are being asked to switch off appliances for about 30 minutes on ten occasions. Customers will be rewarded with up to €100 off their bill.
