This update is for you as stakeholders, communities, landowners and members of the public interested in keeping up to date about the Laois Kilkenny Reinforcement Project. The project is progressing well and we want to keep you informed. We also want tell you about the work of the Community Forum and the 12 local projects awarded funding under the Community Benefit Fund in 2022. We hope that these awardees will provide ideas for the next round of funding.

The report will provide market participants with information on the anticipated availability of dispatchable generation capacity to meet peak demand each day over the week ahead; the average and lower confidence renewables forecast; and the availability of the East-West Interconnector and the Moyle Interconnector with Great Britain to support trades - should these be required to meet power system requirements when renewable and dispatchable generation are inadequate.
