We are currently in Step 5 of our Framework for Grid Development (The Planning Process) and we are due to submit a planning application with Kildare County Council in August 2021. Door-to-door engagement is ongoing in the area through our Community Liaison Officers (CLO’s).
Laois-Moneypoint (CP0967) and Oldstreet-Woodland (CP0969) Series Compensation Projects
The location of these devices is not yet defined and we are currently in Step 4 of our Framework for Grid Development (Where Exactly Should we Build?). There are a number of options being progressed by the project team and local engagement is occurring at these potential locations. A best performing option (BPO) will become apparent in Q4 2021 with a planning application for each to be progressed in Q1 2022.
